The Gratex belt provides a closer mesh with greater strength than the Balanced weave. It is similar in construction to the Balanced belt, exept the spirals are more closely wound and a straight connector rod is used. This results in a stronger construction and reduced the possibility of product being retained in the mesh, while retaining the basic advantages of the Balanced weave.

This belt is generally selected for conveyors handling small parts and heavy loads, for foundry shake out conveyors.
